SMARTWATER SERIES

WHAT IS THE SMARTWATER SERIES?

In short, the Intelli-Gen Smartwater is an intelligent generator designed for remote livestock watering. These innovative new generators provide the power to pump the amount of water your cattle need, where and when they need it, at a fuel cost of less than 2 cents per head, per day, in most applications.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A float switch is mounted in your stock tank and connected to the Smartwater system. When the water level sinks a set amount, the generator starts and begins its warm-up process. The pump is then activated. Once the water level has risen and the tank is full, the pump stops and the generator begins its cool-down. It then shuts down until the float switch drops, beginning the process all over again. The system can also be run on Timer Mode. In this mode, a timer initiates the process. In either mode, the entire process happens automatically and completely unattended!

This system is reliable, economic, flexible, portable, and practical. Its easy to use and designed to help you get a more dependable source of water with minimal operating costs, even for the largest of livestock herds.

Reliable

Proven track record for easy starts in all conditions.

Economic

Features fuel efficiency and maintenance free, brushless alternator for economical operation.

flexible

Two modes of operation: Float Mode and Timer Mode.

portable

Small enough to move from well-site to well-site.

Practical

Designed specifically for the purpose of remote livestock watering.

Reliability:

We use Honda GX series, air-cooled engines, proven for easy starts in all weather conditions.

Based on: $2.25/gal  |  $0.016 fuel cost/head/day  |  summer consumption rates

Economy:

The Honda engine provides unmatched fuel efficiency. Coupled with a maintenance-free, brushless alternator, this creates a package that is extremely economical to operate. A small solar panel keeps the batteries charged in times of little or no use, eliminating the need for "exercising"the unit.

Flexibility:

The Smartwater system has two modes of operation, Float Mode and Timer Mode. Time of year (freezing temperatures, for example) and individual operating needs will dictate which mode is necessary and at which times.

Units in hours. Based on: 1 minute/head/day  |  summer consumption rates

Portability:

The small size and integrated gasoline tank allow the unit to be easily transported from well-site to well-site. Trailer-mounted units are also available.

Practicality:

  • This system was designed from the ground up for the specific purpose of remote livestock watering. We did not take another package and make it fit our purposes. We chose basic, air-cooled engines because even though we believe in technology, we also believe in keeping things simple.

  • Our specialized housing eliminates the need for enclosure ventilating equipment, but also protects the system from rodents and other outdoor elements. It is designed for easy and unobstructed engine/generator access.

  • The control equipment is housed in an external enclosure that can be easily unplugged, removed, and returned to the factory if needed.

  • The generator provides standard 120/240 Volt, 60 Hz, AC power. This allows use with standard, domestic duty, submersible pumps that are readily available, low-cost, economical to operate, and are proven to last years.

  • With the fuel efficiency of the Honda engine, and the standard eight-gallon fuel tank, unit refuelling trips are few and far between.

  • We offer an operational communications package, specifically designed for our system, that allows monitoring from 30-40 miles, without the need for cell phone service.
